Rhinoplasty

What is Rhinoplasty? Nose aesthetics, medically known as rhinoplasty, is a surgical procedure performed to correct the shape and/or function of the nose. This operation, which can be preferred for both aesthetic concerns and health reasons such as breathing problems, has a significant effect on the overall harmony and expression of the face.

Who Can Have Rhinoplasty? Nose aesthetics is suitable for people who are not satisfied with the shape of their nose, who have a deviated nasal bone, a droopy nasal tip, asymmetry or deformation due to trauma. It can also be applied to correct congenital structural disorders or previously unsuccessful nose surgeries.

Surgery Process and Recovery Rhinoplasty is usually an operation that takes 1-3 hours and can be performed with an open or closed technique depending on the patient's condition. Swelling and bruising are normal for the first few days after surgery. Although the full recovery process varies from person to person, it can take 6 months to 1 year for the nose to take its final shape.

Natural and Face-Compatible Results The aim in the modern rhinoplasty approach is to create a nose that is compatible with the facial features, looks natural, and preserves the person's characteristic features. Therefore, detailed examination and personalized planning before the operation are of great importance.
